ERP Systems & API Integrations Developer (Contract)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ERP Developer or Development Firm for a contract role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with popular ERP systems such as xTuple/CAI Software, SAP, or Acumatica. This role involves creating API integrations for e-commerce, accounts payable, payment gateways, freight carriers, and other similar industries. Candidates must be proficient in data conversion using CSV, JSON, and XML to EDI standards like X12, and have a solid understanding of GAAP, the order-to-cash cycle, and inventory management.

Qualifications:

  • Develop and integrate ERP systems with various APIs (e-commerce, accounts payable, payment gateways, freight carriers).

  • Perform data conversion to EDI standards (X12) using CSV, JSON, and XML.

  • Design and manage databases, with a strong focus on PostgreSQL.

  • Implement business logic within databases using tables, views, triggers, and functions.

  • Optimize SQL query performance.

  • Utilize Git workflow for version control.

  • Develop effective test cases for application and stress testing.

Required Technical Expertise:

  • Proven experience with xTuple/CAI Software, SAP, or Acumatica.

  • Strong foundation in PostgreSQL database creation and management.

  • Expertise in implementing business logic within databases.

  • Proficiency in SQL query performance tuning.

  • Strong understanding of algorithms and algorithmic complexity.

  • Effective test case creation and execution.

OTHER IDEAL Skills:

  • Proficiency in .NET, C#, and Entity Framework.

  • Experience with C++ and Qt.

  • Knowledge of Python and Flask.

  • Familiarity with JavaScript.

  • Familiarity with GAAP, order-to-cash cycle, and inventory management.
